Albert Ray Wolford, Sr.

Albert Ray Wolford, Sr., 82 of Payne, passed away Thursday, Feb 11, 2016 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born in Arlington, OH a son of the late Samuel & Annabelle (Price) Wolford.

Albert retired from International Harvester. He enjoyed singing in the choir at St Paul United Methodist Church and equally enjoyed woodworking, gardening & fishing.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Arla (Wobler), whom he married June 26, 1954; children, Teal White & Roxane (Frank) King, both of Payne, Ray (Jane) of Hicksville & Tom (Barb) of Delphos; brother, Marvin of Mt Cory; 12 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Marie & sistrs, Ethel, Ellen & Lola.

Viewing is Sunday, 2-6 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

Service is Monday, 11 am, with viewing one hour prior at St Paul United Methodist Church, Payne.

He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery.
