ALONZO "LONNIE" STEVENS, 60, of Woodburn, died suddenly, Friday, September 21st, 2007.

Lonnie was born in Fort Wayne on April 2, 1947, the son of the late Cullie and Sarah "Sally" (Lothamer) Stevens.

He was a valued employee at Uniroyal Goodrich Woodburn and a member of United Steel Workers of America; social member of Antwerp VFW Post 5087 and Woodburn American Legion Post 377.

On August 20, 1976, Lonnie married Gail Nutt, who survives along with his daughters, Linda Fay of Ft Wayne, Pam (Ken) Pitman of Antwerp, Dawn Stevens of Sweetwater, TX & Cristy (Eric) Emerick of Terre Haute; sons, Richard (Cheryl) Wolfe of Fort Lupton, CO, Jeff Wolfe of Indianapolis, Alan (Judy) Stevens of Terre Haute & Mike (Stacy) Stevens of Woodburn; sister Michelle (Steve) Litzenberg and niece, Stacy (Matt) Hopkins, both of Antwerp; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

His brother, Lynn, has passed away.

Services at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, at 11 am on Wednesday, September 26th, with Rev Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Tuesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm and Wednesday, one hour prior to services.

His family requests donations to Woodburn Fire Department.
