Betty Bauer

Betty Jane Bauer, 85, of Antwerp, passed away at 11:05 pm, Wednesday, November 19th, 2008 at Vancrest Healthcare Center, Van Wert, Ohio.

Betty was born in Antwerp, on August 31, 1923, the daughter of the late Harry R. and Hattie G. (Ours) Bissell.

She worked at Magnavox for 48 years.

On March 20, 1942 she married Richard Bauer, Sr., who passed away Sept 6, 2000.

She will be sadly missed by her son, Richard, Jr. (Sharon)---Antwerp; brother, Robert "Bing" Bissell---Payne; 2 grandchildren, Yvonne (Dan) Marlin & Todd Bauer and 2 great grandchildren, Teeghun & Ethan Marlin.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Flossie Seslar.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Saturday, November 22nd, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

She will be laid to rest at Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.

Viewing is Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home and Saturday, one hour prior to her service.

Her family requests donations to Paulding Area VNA & Hospice, Alzheimers Association or Antwerp V.E.T.S.
