Betty J. DeLong

Betty J. DeLong, 90, of Antwerp passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at The Gardens of Paulding.

Betty was born in  Defiance County on February 9, 1923, a daughter of the late Celia (Grine) and Elba  Bercaw.

On Feb. 23, 1946 she married Glenn "Banty" DeLong, who died March 3, 1973.

She was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish.
  
She will be fondly remembered by her 4 children, Judy, Nick (Mary), Sheila (Fritz) Ehrhart & Mary (Bill) Adams all of Antwerp;  5 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren & 8 great great grandchildren

Her siblings Naomi Colley, Hilda McGrath, Victor & Cloyce Bercaw & 2 great grandchildren also preceded her in death.

Viewing is Tuesday, 4 - 7 pm, with a vigil at 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, where viewing is also Wednesday, 9 - 9:30 am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Monroe & Daggett Streets, Antwerp, at 10 am on Wednesday, November 6, 2013.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
