Betty Jane Lichty

Betty Jane Lichty, 88, of Antwerp passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Community Memorial Hospital, Hicksville.

Betty was born in Fort Wayne on June 6, 1928, a daughter of the late Hazel (Brown) and Harry  Hill.

She worked more than 21 years at Dana Weatherhead. Betty was a devoted wife & loving mother, who adored her sons and grandchildren.

Betty will be sadly missed by her sons, Jack (Paula), Rex & Jim (Cheryl); 6 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren & sister-in-law, Cara Lou Handy.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Myron "Bud", whom she married Aug. 5, 1950 and sisters, Helen Barker & Ruth Jordan. 

Her funeral service is Tuesday, 11 am with viewing, 10-10:45 am at Antwerp United Methodist Church, 202 E. River Street.

Viewing is also at Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
