Betty Jean Power

Betty Jean Power, age 80 died Sunday, April 28, 2013 at her residence in Antwerp, Ohio.  She was born January 5, 1933 in Lakeville, Kentucky, the daughter of Harmon Salyer and Lona (Honaker) Salyer.  She is survived by four daughters, Rose (Doug) Pitts, Clay VanCleve, Toni (John Potter) Pieratt, Crystal Hill; five sons, Ronnie (Debra) Power, Michael Power, David (Louise Allen) Power, Jimmy (Denise) Power, Scott (Emily) Power; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one brother, Wilbur Salyer.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dillard Clayton Power; one daughter, Roberta “Bobbi” McVey; one son, Ernest Edward Power; her parents; two brothers; and one sister.  Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Reverend David Wilhoit officiating.  Visitation will be from 6-8:00 PM, Thursday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at the Butler County Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 644 Linn St., Suite 1026, Cincinnati, Ohio 45203.  A guestbook is available at www.breitenbachfuneralhome.com.
