ROBERTA "BOBBI" McVEY, 54, Antwerp, passed away at 9 am, Sunday, August 12th, 2007 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born in Marion, Ohio on June 27, 1953, the daughter of the late Dillard Clayton and Betty Jean (Salyer) Power who survives her of Antwerp.
She worked as an Inspector/operator at SpecTemp, Antwerp, for 18 years
Bobbi was a member of Paulding Eagles Aerie 2405, Antwerp American Legion Post 253 Auxiliary and a Life Member of Antwerp VFW Post 5087 Auxiliary. Bobbi enjoyed playing cards, camping, traveling and spending time with her family.
On May 16, 1981, Bobbi married William "Bill" Mc Vey, who survives.
Bobbi will be sadly missed by her husband; mother; son, Steven (Amber) Steele of Paulding; daughter, Sara McVey of Antwerp; step daughter, Holly (Lucio) Flores of Grover Hill;
sisters, Rose (Doug) Pitts of Camden, Clay VanCleve, Toni Pieratt, and Crystal Hill all of Antwerp;
brothers, Ronnie (Debbie) Power of South Lebanon, Michael (Donna) Power of Middletown, David (Louise) Power of Franklin, Jimmy Power of Antwerp and Scott (Emily) Power of Trenton and 7 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dillard Clayton Power and brother, Ernest Power.
You are invited to particiapte in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Thursday, August 16th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.
You may call Wednesday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, and Thursday, one hour prior to service, at Dooley Funeral Home.
A VFW Auxiliary Service will be held Wednesday at 6:30 pm
She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
Her family requests donations to the American Cancer Society.
