Bonnie Coughlin

Bonnie M. Coughlin, 94, of Antwerp, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022, at Vancrest of Payne.

Bonnie was born in Antwerp on June 27, 1927, a daughter of the late Gertude E. (Rogers) and Mark L. Mettert.

Bonnie was an exceptional wife and mother. Her family always knew the love that she felt  for them. There was never a moment that she was not devoted to God and her family. Her loving, high spirit was easily contagious. 

She will be sadly missed by her children, Judy (David) McCalla, Deb (Dan) Corwin, Jim (Beth) Coughlin, Denny (JoAnn) Coughlin & Amy (Mitch) Wilhelm; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, with one on the way!

Bonnie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Francis Coughlin, to whom she was married Aug. 11, 1948 and daughters, Linda Coughlin & Christine Lechleidner.

Viewing is 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, June 14th at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, with the rosary recited at 6:30 pm. 

Viewing will also be 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Bonnie's funeral mass is 10 AM on Wednesday, June 15th at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 303 Monroe Street, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery Harlan, Indiana.
