Bruce D. Dunbar, 71, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.
Bruce was born in Kenton, Ohio on March 16, 1953, a son of the late Betty Jean (Stauffer) and Donavin Dean Dunbar, Sr.
In his youth, Bruce enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on cars. He especially enjoyed his time at Camp ZA-NI-KA. He developed an interest in shooting muzzleloaders, which stayed with him his entire life. Bruce held membership in the NRA, NMLRA, Auglaize Muzzleloaders, Auglaize Rough Riders, OGCA, NOB. He was also a lifetime member of SASS and Tri State Gun Collectors Club. His faith and family were what was most important to Bruce.
Bruce will be sadly missed by his wife, Margaret (Beatty); daughter, Renee; brother, Steve (Cindy) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donovin Dean, Jr.
Viewing is Tuesday, November 12th, 4 - 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.
His funeral service is 10:30 AM, with viewing one hour prior on Wednesday, November 13th at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.
He will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
