Carl Mason

Carl W. Mason, 76, of Woodburn, Indiana, passed away at 3:05 AM, Saturday, November 10th, 2007 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Carl was born in Yoder, Indiana on August 10, 1931, the son of the late Clarence Wayne and Amanda M. (Brindle) Mason.

He served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and was a valued employee at International Harvester, Fort Wayne.

Carl was a member of the American Rabbit Breaders Assn. He enjoyed time with his friends at the Antwerp Card Room, stockcar racing and Komets Hockey. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt & fish.

On April 23, 1955 he married Barbara Malfait, who survives.

Carl will be sadly missed by his wife, Barbara; son, Mike (Julie) both of Woodburn; brother, Robert ; granddaughter, Nicole (Ryan) Jewell and great grandchildren Xander & Jaxson all of Fort Wayne.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Tuesday, November 13th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, and Tuesday, one hour prior to his service.
