Carol Merz

Carol  Ann Merz, 81, of Paulding, Ohio, passed away Monday, October 24, 2022 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Carol  was born in Paulding, Ohio on September 14, 1941, a daughter of the late Mildred Jean (Anspach) and Alphons John Hoschak.

She started her career as a secretary at Magnavox, eventually retiring from Teleflex
Before anything else, Carol was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She thoroughly enjoyed any time spent with her grandchildren.

Carol will be sadly missed by her children, Teresa Ann Bauer; Carolyn Sue Merz, Kristina Jean Pollo and Jeanne Louise Brown; siblings, Janice C. Wiseman, Gregory C. Hoschak and Gary A. Hoschak; grandchildren, Zachary, Michael, Brittanae, William, Orion, Nicholas, Erica, Melaina, Cara, Daniel, Julia & Alexandra; great grandchildren, Rowan, Holland, Adalae, Janaya & River.

She was also preceded in death by her son, William Michael Merz.

Her funeral service is 11 AM, with viewing from 9 AM to 11 AM on Friday, October 28th at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

She will be laid to rest at Saint Paul Cemetery, Paulding.
