Carolyn Yvonne Farley

Carolyn Yvonne Farley, 73, of Payne, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Paulding County Hospital.

Carolyn was born in Marion County, South Carolina on August 29, 1950.

She was a sweet spunky woman. Her physical size was not an indication of her huge personality. She faced life head on. Carolyn did not let her difficult days affect the way she lived. She loved any music she could dance to. She loved horror movies and the television show, Naked and Afraid! Those who knew her were always reminded that she needed chocolate to survive, often saying that she would die from chocolate withdrawal!
Carolyn was quite the bingo player, crafter, gardener and joker. She always gave back more than she was given. This was evident to her Ohio family that chose her.

Although she did not have children of her own, she will be sadly missed by her "adopted family", Breanna and Jake Roop, April Cermak and Sarah Barclay and their children, Jacob, who she called "Monkey Meat", Iness and Eva. Carolyn is also survived by her brother-in-law, Roger Mullins

She never forgot the good times she had with her husband, Hebert "Herb" Perrey, now deceased.

There will not be a public service for Carolyn, but she will be remembered in a special was by those that cared for her, who were given back so much from Carolyn.
