Cathy Cottrell

Catherine Ann Cottrell, 73, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.

Cathy was born in Defiance, Ohio on May 27, 1950, a daughter of the late Mary (Meyer) and Paul Deisler.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. The special love that she had for her family will always be remembered. Cathy thoroughly enjoyed playing bingo, reading, working with puzzles and her friends in her card club.

Cathy will be sadly missed by her husband, Robert "Bob" Cottrell; daughters, Dawn (Jeff) Ryan and Monica (Dennis) Recker; sisters, Georgia (Joe) Cecil, Connie (Leroy) Sheets and Paula (Steve) Mallett and grandchildren, Lauren, Brett & Jack.

She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Cottrell and her brother, Bill Deisler.

Viewing is Wednesday, 1 PM to 2:30 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

Her funeral service is 2:30 PM on Wednesday, January 10th at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

She will be laid to rest in Immaculate Conception Cemetery Cecil, Ohio.
