Charles "Chas" David Shidler

Charles "Chas" David Shidler, 30, of Mark Center, formerly of Antwerp passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

Chas was born in Paulding on August 8, 1991.

He always loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He was a 2010 graduate of Antwerp High School, where he played football. He also attended University of Northwestern Ohio. Chas served humbly in the U.S. Army. Chas worked at Innovative Ag Management in Hicksville. He loved cars, his friends and his family. Chas was also an avid Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Football fan. 

Chas will be sadly missed by his mother, Lynn Shaffer, father, David Shidler, girlfriend, Alyssa Willey and her daughters, Meredith & Maggie; siblings, Tayler Shaffer, Tadd (Brittany) Hanson, Desirae Bell, Devon Shidler & Dustin Shidler; grandfather, Dave Connor; several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews. dogs, Chevy & Rusty and cats Taco & Tamale.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Janet Connor, Oden & Carol Shidler and Fred & Janice Shaffer, uncle, Eric Connor & cousin, Daniel Merritt. 

Viewing is Friday, February 11, 2022, 3 pm to 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

Service is Saturday, February 12, 2022, 10:30 am, with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp. His service will conclude with military honors from VFW Post 5087.
