Charles William Strayer

CHARLES WILLIAM STRAYER, age 68, of Antwerp, Ohio, passed away at 1:50 pm, Monday, February 26th, 2007 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on June 29, 1938, he was the son of the late John and Arlette (Carr) Strayer.

He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

On November 8, 1959 Charles married Carol McCurdy, who survives.

He worked at Taylor Made Glass, Payne and previously at his family's market, Strayer's IGA, in Payne.

He was always interested in cars and enjoyed camping.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Carol; son, Jerry of Antwerp and brother, John of Westerville

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Friday, March 2nd, with Reverend David Mathews officiating.

You may call Thursday, four to eight pm, and Friday, one hour prior to services, at Dooley Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
