Clarice Demongeot

Clarice Ann Demongeot, 94, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Friday, December 20, 2024 at Vancrest of Payne.

Clarice was born in Antwerp on August 14, 1930, a daughter of the late Mabel (Bennett) and Delta Reeb.

She worked in Central Service at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. Clarice maintained relationships with her co-workers for many years through their retirees association. Clarice thoroughly enjoyed all of her activities as a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish. She never missed a chance to help with funeral dinners, church festivals and noodle making. Her family, friends and members of her Red Hat Society will never forget her sweet smile and personality. 

Clarice will be sadly missed by her sons, Gary (Twila) Demongeot and Loren (Linda) Demongeot, daughter-in-law, Margaret Demongeot, grandchildren, Jillian (Matthew) Allard and Derek Demongeot; step grandson, Bryson Miller and great grandson, Lucas Allard

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edmond to whom she was married January 27, 1951; son, Edmond "Chuck" Demongeot; siblings, Edward Reeb, Madeline Ladd, Carol Shidler and Betty Wilks. 

Viewing is Thursday, December 26th, 4 to 6:30 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

The rosary will be recited Thursday, December 26th at 6:30 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.

Her Mass of Christian Burial is on Friday, December 27th at 10 am at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 203 W. Townline Street, Payne, Ohio. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH AT 9:45 AM

Clarice will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
