Collie F. Lamb

Collie F. "Pete" Lamb, 81, of Payne passed away at home on Monday, December 12, 2016.

Collie was born in Payne, on December 7, 1935, a son of the late Evelyn (Lomont) and Collie  Lamb.

Although he drove for Speedy Trucking & Fruehauf Trailer Corp., his greatest achievement was his family.  He passed on his skills of hunting and fishing to many great outdoorsmen. Collie will be remembered for his sense of humor & love of the land.

Collie will be sadly missed by his wife, Myrna (Harting) whom he married Jan. 30, 1954; children, Susan (Richard) Moore, Linda (Ernest) Farris, Sally (Leroy) Anderson & Larry (Mary) all of Payne, Christina (Ryne) Dangler of Paulding & Timothy (Angie) of Spencerville, IN; siblings, Evelyn (Lynn) Snyder of Churubusco, Mary Lou Lichty of Payne, Carol (David) Bercot of Fort Wayne, Tony (Rita) of Angola, Mariam of Defiance, Tom (Linda) & Simon (Carol) both of Paulding; 17 grand and step grandchildren; 30 great grand & step great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren.

Service is Friday 11 am with viewing one hour prior at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

Viewing is also Thursday, 4 - 8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest at Saint Paul Cemetery.
