Constance Ellen Champion

Constance Champion, 60, of Paulding, passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2009 at the Paulding Hospital.

She was born in Wayne, Michigan on November 29, 1948, the daughter of Harold and Doris (Helsel, Fanning) Williams.

Constance was previously employed by Trident in Hicksville and was a member of First Baptist Church of Antwerp.

On September 15, 1990, she married DeWayne Champion who survives. Constance will be sadly missed by her son
John L. Phillips; sisters Bonnie (Ken) Smith of Birchrun, MI, Nancy Williams and Sandy (Jeff) Buffington both of Antwerp,
Shirley (Art) Ames of Garden City, MI, Roberta (Al) Fenech of Brighton, MI, Pam (Ron) Sherman of Phoenix, AZ, Susan (Brian) Godek of Fenton, MI; brothers Matt Williams of Whitmore Lake, MI, Tim (Kathy) Fannin of Antwerp, OH; and nieces and nephews as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, stepfather Joseph Fannin, and nephew Eric Johnston.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 31 at 2 pm at the Maumee Cemetery with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.
