Dale Bass

Rev. Dale Bass, 76, of Payne, passed away, Saturday, February 13th, 2010 at his residence.

Rev. Bass was born in Osborn, Ohio on September 6, 1933, a son of the late Amanda June (Sharp) and Martin VanBuren Bass.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl in the Korean War and was a member of the NRA.

He was a Pastor of the Church of the Nazarene

On Sept 27, 1952 he married Donna Phelps, who passed away March 23, 2004.

He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Gale (Paul) Imboden of Payne & Ramona (Mark) Price of Antwerp; son, Thomas (Stacy) of Marion, IN; grandchildren, Adam, Karen, Benjamin, Christopher, Jasmine, Zechariah Sabrina, Gavin & Jilayne; 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Kay of Payne, Jewel Kurtz of Van Wert, Faith Mansfield of Helena, Julene Crawford of Payne, Joy Gibson of Jackson, MI; brothers, Paul & Marty of Florida & Warron of Hamden, Ohio.

Also preceding him in death are his daughter, Debra Jane & grandaughter, Cynthia Dawn Imboden.

Services were held at the Edgerton Wesleyan Church.
