Dan Kaufman

Daniel G. Kaufman, Jr., 80, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 17th, at Dupont Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was born in Converse, Indiana on October 4, 1943, a son of the late Maxine Mae (Holloway) and Daniel G. Kaufman, Sr.

Dan was a carpenter by trade, who loved the outdoors. He thoroughly enjoyed camping, ice fishing, trapping, hunting and gardening. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved sharing his passion for the outdoors with them and tried to attend all of the sporting events. 

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Ruth (Altic); children, Scott (Angie) Kaufman, Wendy (the late Scott) Doster, Tammy Rowe and April (Jamie) Garrett; grandchildren, Harlee (Zack) Walk, Jonathon (Bianca) Hudson, Leigha and Tucker Doster, Tony Kaufman, Cheyenne and Felipe Rios, Gene, Izik and Shaylee Garrett; twelve great grandchildren and one one the way!

Dan was also preceded in death by his daughter, Kristina Marie Kaufman and sisters, Judy and Sherry Kaufman.

Viewing is Wednesday, August 21st from 4 -7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp. 

Dan's funeral service is Thursday, August 22nd at 10:30 AM with viewing one hour prior, at the funeral home. 

He will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
