Darlene Waltenburg

DARLENE WALTENBURG, age 67, of Antwerp, passed away Friday, September 21st, 2007 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Darlene was born in Sturgis, Michigan on June 25, 1940, the daughter of the late Lester and Ione (Ramsier) Robbins.

She worked at Yoder's Restaurant, Hicksville, but also worked at Ione's Beauty Shop and ran B & D Ceramics with her husband.

In 1960 Darlene married William Waltenburg, who survives.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Bill; daughter, Heather (Bryan) Quinn of Fort Wayne; son, Heath (Deborah) of Antwerp; brothers, David (Karen) Robbins of Rib Lake, Wisconsin & Darrell (Phyllis) Robbins of Antwerp; 5 grandchildren, Brett, Andrew & Elizabeth Quinn and Holden & Megan Profit.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Friday, September 28th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, and Friday, one hour prior to services.

She will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery, Harlan.

The family requests donations to South Scipio United Brethren Church or the American Diabetes Association.
