David N. Miller, 76, formerly of Antwerp, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 at his home in New Haven.
David was born in Fort Wayne on July 28, 1948, a son of the late Louise (Allison) & Leon Miller.
Dave was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in Vietnam and carried that sense of duty throughout his life. After his military service, he worked in quality control at DANA, where his career gave him the opportunity to travel the world, including memorable visits to the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal. Outside of work, Dave enjoyed car shows, attending races, and watching Ohio State football. A hardworking man, he dedicated his life to providing for his family. Known for his great sense of humor, he was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Todd (Cheryl) Miller & Donna (Mark) Harbison; siblings, Susan (Terry) Warner, Patti (the late Fain) Lowe,& Dan Miller; sister in law, Viv Miller; brother in law, Tim Kelley; grandchildren, Harley (Ryan) Young, Jacob Miller, & Landon Miller; great grandson, Quentin Young; many nieces and nephews; & beloved dog, JJ.
Dave was also preceded in death by his siblings, Steve Miller & Barb Kelley.
Viewing is Wednesday, October 23rd from 4-7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp.
Service is Thursday, October 24th at 11 AM with viewing one hour prior at the funeral home.
Military Honors will follow the service.
Memorials are to Heartland Hospice of Fort Wayne or the New Haven Pet Hospital.
