Dean Gaisford

Dean A. Gaisford, 53, of Antwerp, passed away at 4:17 am, Thursday, September 18th, 2008 surrounded by his family at his residence.

He was born in Hicksille on August 28, 1955, the son of the late Leroy "Abe" & Ethel (Cromley) Gaisford.

Dean worked in route sales at ARAMARK, Fort Wayne, was a former Scout Master for Pack 143. He enjoyed building & remodeling, the Red Sox and always enjoyed his family & friends, especially around his campfires. On Sept 20, 1975 he married Coni Elders, who survives.

Dean will be sadly missed by his wife, Coni; sons, Brian (Jessie) of Antwerp & Shane (Jessica) of Cromwell, IN; sisters, Rita (Lawrence) Reising of Schertz, TX, Etta (David) Reece of Port Charlotte, FL, Janet (Dean) Hood of Del City, OK; brother, Tom (Jan) of Payne; sister-in-law, Becky of Dayton; grandchildren, Clayton Phipps & Julian Gaisford and mother-in-law & father-in-law, Mary & Charles Elders of Defiance.

He is preceded in death by his parents & brother, John.

You are invited to participate in his service at Antwerp United Methodist Church at 11 am on Monday, September 22nd, with viewing one hour prior. Rev. Mike Schneider will officiate.

Viewing is also, Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
