Dean L LePierre

Dean L. LePierre, 82  of Payne passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Dean was born in Rochester, Indiana  on August 21, 1933  a son of the late Henry & Martha (Daugherty) LePierre 

He served his country proudly during the Korean War in the U.S.  Army. Dean worked at International Harvester but was more content while fishing, watching NASCAR and cheering for Indiana University basketball.

On July 10, 1952 he married Josephine Foreman who died July 5, 2009. He will be sadly missed by his son, Byron (Diana) of New Haven, IN; grandchildren, Emily (David) Hartman Jason (Traci) Billue & Annah Chaney; great granddaughter, Acelynn and companion, Barbara Pond.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, George & Vance.

Viewing is Wednesday, 4 to 8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne.

His funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Payne on Thursday, 11 am, with viewing one hour prior. 

He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, with military honors.
