Dennie Lee Baker

Dennie Lee Baker, 61 of Antwerp passed away at home on Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016 after a 4 year battle with Multiple System Atrophy.

He was born in Hicksville on Jan. 12, 1955 a son of the late Charles & Betty (Madden) Baker.

Dennie worked at Dana Weatherhead for 25 years, loved being an auctioneer, but his family will always remember that his special talent was training and caring for horses. Some of his best memories were made while riding and camping in Brown County.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Loretta (Horman) whom he married on April 14, 1991; children, Jodie (Adam) Zern of Woodburn, Kellie Gerhardt & Karen (Joe) Fox, both of New Haven, Greg (Kim) Kneubuhler of Harlan & Kelly (Jose) Garcia of Winterville, NC; siblings, Edith (the late Scott) Bradbury of Cecil, June (the late Bill) Seitz, Tim (Sheila) & Kenneth all of Hicksville & Kevin of Alabama; 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Service is Friday, 11 am with viewing one hour prior at Zion Lutheran Church, 7616 Bull Rapids Rd, Woodburn, IN, where viewing is also Thursday, 5 - 8 pm.

He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
