Diane Marie Sliger

Diane Sliger, 73, of New Haven, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne.

Diane was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on June 27, 1947, to the late Elizabeth (Szabo) Hedrick & Julius Beregszazi.

Diane worked as a teacher for most of her life, often substitute teaching for Ft. Wayne Community Schools. As a child, she was apart of 4H club and was a talented writer and poet. Diane also enjoyed tending to her garden. In her later years, she discovered a new hobby in water coloring!  

Diane will be sadly missed by her two sons, Mark (Julie) & David Kemerer; siblings, Jeanette (Randy) Brooks, Louis (the late Lisa) Beregszazi, Julius Beregszazi Jr., Joseph (Lisa) Beregszazi, Christine (Jeff) Crabill, & Angela Beregszazi; granddaughter, Zoe Kemerer and step-father, George Hedrick. 

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Michael David Kemerer and Bob Sliger; son, Scott Kemerer & brother, Carl Beregszazi. 

Viewing will be 9 - 10:30 am, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio 45813

Service will be 10:30 am, Saturday, April 17, 2021, at the funeral home. 

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery. 

Due to state mandate, guests must wear nose and mouth covering masks at all times, maintain social distancing, and refrain from contact to keep everyone safe while participating in her viewing and funeral service.

Flowers and other tributes may be delivered Friday, 9 am to 5 pm or Saturday, 8 am to 9 am to the flower delivery door in Antwerp.
