Dolores M. Wobler, 81, of Payne, passed away Friday morning, February 22nd, 2008 at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home.
Dolores was born in Defiance, on August 18, 1926, the daughter of the late Edward and Velva (Shirk) Lero.
She had worked at Permaglass & Haffner's 5 & 10, Payne.
Dolores was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Payne, the Altar Rosary Society, Catholic Ladies of Columbia and Antwerp VFW Post 5087 Auxiliary. Her family is what brought her the most joy.
On May 10, 1947, she married Edward Wobler, who died March 6, 1979.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Michael (Nancy) of Antwerp; Bernard (Roberta) of Lima; Francis (Peg) & John both of Payne and several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death are her children, Betty Ake and Richard, William & Thomas Wobler and siblings, Winnie Brady, Paul & Francis Lero & Robert Shirk.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Payne, at 11 am on Monday, February 25th, with Very Rev. G. Allan Fillman and Deacon Don Coughlin officiating.
You may call Sunday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, where a Catholic Vigil Service will be held at 8 pm.
She will be laid to rest at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Payne.
