Don Starry

Donald R. Starry, 65, of Antwerp, passed away at 9:20 pm, Thursday, January 14, 2010 at his home.

Don was born in Antwerp on February 29, 1944, a son of the late Pearl (Hoover) and Earl Starry.

He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam; was a member of Antwerp VFW Post 5087 and worked at Uniroyal Goodrich, Woodburn.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Charles (Denise) of Antwerp, Craig (Sherry) of Sherwood,
Christine (Alan) Carnahan of Stryker & Linda (Rob) Shipman of Payne; brother, Richard of Antwerp; sister, Marge Proxmire of Paulding; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
His sister, Helen Oller & brother, Harold, preceded him in death.

His funeral service is at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, on Monday, 11 am, with viewing one hour prior.

Viewing is also Sunday, 6-8 pm.
