On September 30th 2021, Donald Joseph Kelble passed away peacefully at home. He was born on July 14th 1951, in Payne Ohio to the late Joseph & Helen (Coomer) Kelble. Don is survived by his son William (Stephanie) Kelble from Antwerp Ohio, two brothers Tom (Kim) Kelble of Fort Wayne Indiana and Roland “Pud” Kelble of Payne Ohio. Sister Connie “Sue” Baumle of Defiance Ohio and sister-in-law Shirley Hudson of Hamilton Indiana. His sister Linda Mansfield and brother Edward Hudson predeceased Donald.
Donnie will be remembered for his great sense of humor and the many things he thought of to make people smile and laugh. Many saw him in his clown costume or with his top hat and tux. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help anyone in need.
He had great passions in his life - his motorcycle, trains, and boxer dogs. His love for trains and especially steam engines led him to spend many years helping with the restoration of the 765 Steam Engine. His hobby led him to create a model train layout that he loved working on with his nephew Doug Mansfield. Donnie loved to travel by train and spent time traveling across the country on Amtrak. He loved working at the old Nickel Plate Depot at the Payne Park and sharing stories with people.
Donnie will be missed by all those he touched with his kindness and generosity.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
