Donna Moore

Donna Moore, 82, of Payne, passed away Thursday, January 22nd, 2009 at Lutheran Hospital.

She was born in West Bloomfield, Michigan on November 7, 1926, the daughter of the late Jesse and Ruth (Slagle) Gaisford.

She was a member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church Payne, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women's Group. She was also a member of the Merry Melodies Home-Ec Club.

On October 19, 1946, she married Ed Moore. She will be sadly missed by her husband, Ed; sons, Steve (Jean) of New Haven & Mike (Linda) of Harlan; daughter, Sue (Doug) Johnson of Fort Wayne; sister, Joann (Don) Killen of Huntington; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Payne, at 11 am on Monday, January 26th, with viewing one hour prior. Rev. Amy Haines will officiate.

She will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery, Payne.

Viewing is also Sunday, 2-8 pm, at the church.

Her family requests donations to United Methodist Women or Paulding County Hospital Home Health Care.
