Dora Mae Trutwin

Dora Mae Trutwin, age 95 of Antwerp, passed away at 5:11 pm, Thursday, March 24th at Hawthorn Court, Paulding, Ohio. Dora was bron in Antwerp on November 24, 1909, she was the daughter of Frank E. and Blanche E. (Miller) Knight. She married James Trutwin in 1930. James passed away in 1969. Dora was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church, Antwerp; Antwerp VFW Post 5087 Auxiliary, Hicksville Eagles and the Royal Neighbors. She loved to fish and enjoyed working at the Ehrhart Museum in Antwerp. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jane Ankney of Antwerp; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. Her daughter, Phyllis Gill; son, Jack Trutwin; 3 brothers; a sister; a grandchild; a great grandchild and her longtime companion, Ernie Sabo, have passed away. You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Tuesday, March 29th, with Reverends Max and Craig Begley officiating. You may call Monday from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm and fater 10 am on Tuesday. She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
