Doris Biddle

Doris Ann Biddle, age 73, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Tuesday, August 1st, 2006 at her residence.

She was born in Ripley, Ohio on October 16, 1932, the daughter of the late Henry and Ruby (Bradford) Minton.

In 1960 Doris married Joe Biddle. He passed away on January 28, 1993.

She retired from Meijer in Fort Wayne as a Loss Prevention Officer.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Antwerp and Antwerp American Legion Auxilliary Post 253.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Charlene Geyer of Antwerp, Sheryl Roth of Fort Wayne; son Joseph Biddle of Suwanee, Georgia; step daughter Patricia Rush of Fort Payne, Georgia; sisters Linda Doyle of Aberdeen, Ohio, Eileen Sexton of Russellville, Ohio; brothers Denver Minton of Belleair Bluffs, Florida and Ronnie Minton of Ripley, Ohio; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Jane Minton and Marlene Doyle.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 5th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating. She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.

You may call Friday 4-8 PM at Dooley Funeral Home and after 10 AM on Saturday.
