Dorothy Schlegel

Dorothy Velma Schlegel, 92, of Antwerp, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2021 at The Manor in Antwerp.

Dorothy was born in Antwerp, Ohio on March 19, 1929, a daughter of the late Velma Beckett (Starry) and Howard William Hetrick.

She was a winder at General Electric for 42 years, where she was a member of the Elex Club. Dorothy was also a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Antwerp. She was proud to have visited 49 of our 50 states.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Deborah Bechtol of Winter Haven, Florida, Lyle (Paula) Schlegel of Antwerp & Jerl Schlegel of Antwerp; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandchild.

Dorothy was a also preceded in death on June 6, 2011 by her husband, Roger.

Her graveside service is Friday, September 10, 2021 at 3 pm at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
