Duane Geer

Duane W. Geer, 68, of Paulding, passed away at 3:55 am, Sunday, August 17th, 2008 surrounded by his family at his residence.

Duane was born in Lincolnville, PA on May 9, 1940, the son of the late Clifford and Pauline (Stover) Geer.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman.

Duane worked at Sims Manufacturing Payne and also as a truck driver for M&D Transport & Bryan Trucking.

On February 24, 1968 Duane married Barbara Masone, who survives.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Barbara; daughter, Dina (Matthew) Shinabery of Waldron, MI; son, Michael (Ruth) of Bandon, FL; sister, Luella Chippiga of Union City, PA; grandchildren Alex & Corey Geer & Emily, Jordan & Bailey Shinabery. .

Preceding him in death is his sister, Marjorie Hand.

You are invited to participate in his service Wednesday, 11 am, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with calling one hour prior. Reverend Dwight Bowers will officiate.
