Eddie Shuherk

Eddie C. Shuherk, 83, died peacefully, with his beloved wife of 62 years, Barbara Anne (Rhoad), by his side Thursday, September 22, 2011. He was born in Allen County, Indiana, May 28, 1928, a son of the late Charles and Edna (Peffley) Shuherk. He is also survived by his sister, Esther Morrow, three daughters, Beth Seslar, Carol Shuherk & Cindy Shuherk; six grandchildren, Eric Seslar, Cassandra Daniels, Josh & Luke Parrish and William & Walker Zupan and five great grandchildren, Cole Seslar, Caitlin & Crosby Daniels and Emma & Kyia Parrish.

He was a carpenter, a restaurateur & an avid sportsman who loved hunting, golfing, bowling and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Eddie was a U.S. Navy veteran. He lived a wonderful life and will be missed by all who knew him.  

Viewing is Sunday, 2-6pm, with Masonic Rites at 6 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

His funeral service is Monday, 11:00 am, with viewing one hour prior at Antwerp United Methodist Church, 202 E. River St, Antwerp.
