Eddie Hudson, age 72 of Hamilton Lake, Indiana, formerly of Antwerp, passed away at 8:10 pm, Monday, February 7th, 2005, while in the company of his family, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana. Eddie was born in Antwerp on November 9, 1932 the son of the late Jack "Bud" Hudson and Helen (Coomer) Kelble. He married Lois Ann Harp in 1952. She passed away in 1954. Eddie then married Shirley L. Mollet on June 2, 1956 at the Payne Nazarene Church. Eddie served his country as a Corporal in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean Conflict. He worked at LaFarge in Paulding, attended Hamilton Wesleyan Church and was a member of Antwerp VFW Post 5087 and Antwerp American Legion Post 253. Eddie will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley Hudson of Hamilton; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven & Bonnie of Defiance and Scott & Angie of Antwerp; son-in-law, Jeff Panico of Hicksville; stepmother, Lois Hudson-Anderson of New Haven, Indiana; sister, Sue Baumle of Payne; brothers, Tom Kelble of Fort Wayne, Don & Pud Kelble of Payne; 8 grandchildren, Sarah & Jack Hudson, Kori Strubing, Jake & Bobbi Jo Panico, Kristi Schooley and Harley & Jonathon Hudson; 3 great grandchildren, Isaac & Addie Strubing and Kolton Schooley. Eddie's daughter, Sandy Panico and sister, Linda Mansfield have passed away. You are invited to call Thursday, February 10th, 2005, from 2 until 4 & 6 until 8 pm and Friday after 10 am. You are also invited to participate in Eddie's funeral service, Friday, 11 am, at Dooley Funeral Home, with Reverend David Leitzel officiating. He will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery, Payne, with military honors. In Eddie's memory contributions may be made to the Hamilton Fire Department or Hamilton Wesleyan Church.
