Evelyn F. Murphy

EVELYN F. MURPHY, age 87, of , Antwerp, passed away at 3:35 AM, Friday, May 5th, 2006 at Wesley Healthcare, Auburn, DeKalb County, Indiana.

Born in St. Joe, Indiana on February 19, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Hazel (Smurr) Dermott.

On October 27, 1937 Evelyn Married Robert "Bob" Murphy, who lovingly called her "Reed". They enjoyed their family and fishing together. Bob passed away November 25, 1995.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marge & Wayne Dennis of Montpelier, Ohio and Marilyn & Andy Lichty of LaGrange, Indiana; 4 grandchildren, Brent Dennis, Dawn Van Horn, Karen Dyer & Kimberly Kinney and 5 great grandchildren, Lindsay Dyer, Ashley & Derreck Dennis and Adam & Brent Van Horn.

Her brother, Marion Dermott has passed away.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 AM on Monday, May 8th, with Rev. Craig Burkholder officiating.

You may call Sunday, 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM, and Monday, after 10 AM, at Dooley Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
