Fran Rhoad

Francis Lee Rhoad, 76, of Cecil, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Laurels of Defiance.

Fran was born in Defiance on July 19, 1942, a son of the late Helen Pearl (Huss) and Kenneth D. Rhoad.

He was a dedicated employee at Dana Weatherhead for 44 years but always made time for his family, coon hunting, fishing and softball.

Fran will be sadly missed by his wife Linda (Hoste) whom he married Sept. 26, 1988 in Covington, KY; sons, Daniel (Yvonne) & Darin; step children, Angie (Scott) Kaufman & John Huss; siblings, Karen (Bill) Gill, Cheryl (Wally) Leibold, Denny (Sharon) & David (Darcy); 3 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; 1 on the way and his dog, Missy.

His funeral service is 11 AM on Monday, April 1st at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, with viewing after 10 am.

Viewing is also Sunday, 2 - 5 pm at Dooley Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
