Francis E. Beauge

Mr. Francis E. Beauge, age 74, of Cecil, Ohio , passed away at 11:45 AM, Thursday, July 28th, 2005 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Allen County, IN.

Mr. Beauge was born in Bluefield, WV on November 17, 1930, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Helen (Umburger) Beauge.

He married Normajean (Hastilow) Krohn on August 10, 1991 at the Bethel United Methodist Church.

Francis was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Cecil, the Antwerp VFW Post 5087 and American Legion Post 253. Cars were always an enjoyment rather than a necessity for him.

He retired as a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1966, having served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a self employed truck drive after his Naval Service.

Francis will be sadly missed by his wife, Normajean; sons, Raymond Beauge of Virginia Beach, VA, Francis, Jr. of Hampton, VA, Benjamin of Sterling. VA, Charles Krohn of Paulding, William Krohn of Oklahoma, David Krohn of Antwerp; 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.

His sister, Dorothy Stinson and brother, Benjamin have passed away.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Bethel United Methodist Church, Paulding County Road 192 at Road 73, Cecil, Ohio at 2 pm on Monday, August 1st, with Rev. Charles Schmunk officiating.

You may call Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp and Monday 1 pm at Bethel United Methodist Church.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery Antwerp, with military honors.
