Francis W. Olwin

FRANCIS W. OLWIN, age 81, of Payne, Ohio , passed away at 9:22 pm, Thursday, March 8th, 2007 at Paulding County Hospital, Paulding, Ohio.

Born in Payne, Ohio on September 4, 1925, he was the son of the late Fred and Virtle (Radenbaugh) Olwin. On September 15, 1945 Francis married Georgia Scott, who survives.

Francis was a farmer, who loved his family, grandkids, his cats. He loved to fish, work in the yard & travel. He was a member of Antwerp United Methodist Church & Flat Rock Masonic Lodge #580 F & AM, Payne.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Kathie & Terry Kipfer; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene & Diane, Dan & Ann, Dale & Shannon of all of Payne; sister and brother-in-law, Pauline & L.J. Pursifull of Newport News, VA; 12 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren.

Francis is preceded in death by his son, Johnny Fred & grandson, Scott Francis.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Antwerp United Methodist Church at 11 am on Tuesday, March 13th, with Rev. Michael Schneider officiating.

You may call Monday, 2 to 4 & 6-8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home with masonic rites at 8 pm. You may also call Tuesday, 1 hour prior to his service, at the church.

He will be laid to rest at Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.
