George L. Bussing, 77, of Paulding, passed away at 4:25 pm, Tuesday, November 9,2010 at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
George was born in Defiance on January 5, 1933, a son of the late Margarite H. (Steel) and George C. Bussing.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Cpl in the Korean War & worked at BF Goodrich, Woodburn.
George was a lifetime member of the Paulding VFW Post 587 and he loved to garden.
He will be sadly missed by his 4 sons, Steve (Bev), Tim & James (Amy) all of Paulding & Chris (Dawn) of Alabama; 2 daughters, Carol (Leon) Goyings of Paulding & Joni of Defiance; former wife, Anna; daughter-in-law, Mary, both of Paulding; 2 brothers, Dick of Defiance, Mike (Pam) of Archbold; 4 sisters, Pat Miller of Sherwood, Shirley (Dal) Andrew of Florida, OH, Carol (Darwin) Brown of Oakwood & Pam Shawver of Paulding; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren & several nieces and nephews.
George was preceded in death by his son, Randy; parents; 2 brothers, Robert & Paul; 3 sisters, Janet, Rosemary Yoh & Betty Blevins.
His funeral service is at The First Presbyterian Church, 114 Caroline, Paulding at 11 am on Saturday, November 13th, with visitation one hour prior.
Visitation is also Friday, 6 - 8 pm, at DOOLEY FUNERAL HOME, 5761 SR 500, Payne.
He will be laid to rest at Saint Paul Cemetery, with military honors.
