George Roger Wells

George Roger Wells, 74, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023 at Kingston Care Center of Fort Wayne

Roger was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on May 14, 1949, a son of the late Florence (Rader) Leiter and George  Wells.

Roger provided for his family as an over the road truck driver for 45 years but was most comfortable working on cars and attending tractor pulls and the Mopar Nationals.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Kenny (Becky) Wells and Steve (Angie) McCombs; siblings, Cheryl Kreischer, Mike Wells, Randy (Rhonda) Wells and Marcia (Jeff) Gaunt; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Wells and siblings, Bruce and Thomas Wells.

Viewing is Monday, November 20th, 5 to 7 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

His funeral service is 10:30 AM with viewing one hour prior on Tuesday, November 21st at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp .

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
