Gerald M. Kemerer

GERALD M. KEMERER, age 86, of Antwerp, passed away at 4:08 am, Sunday, January 8th, 2006 at Paulding County Hospital, Paulding, Ohio.

Born in Hicksville, Ohio on February 21, 1919, he was the son of the late Oliver Oren and Mary M. (Booth) Kemerer.

He served in the U.S. Army in WW II.

Gerald was a farmer and retired from Edgerton Locker, Edgerton, Ohio as a meat cutter.

He was a Mason and enjoyed woodworking.

He will be sadly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Hal and Kim of Antwerp; daughter-in-law, Elaine Kemerer of Antwerp; 6 grandchildren, Kenneth, Lori, Casey and Colt Kemerer, Shari McKibben and Renee Tarlton and 5 great grandchildren, Caitlin Bolick, Emily, Andrew & Joshua McKibben and Marcus Tarlton.

Gerald's son, Gary and brothers, Robert and Harold (Gerald's twin that died in infancy) have passed away.

You are invited to participate in his funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 am on Wednesday, January 11th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Tuesday, 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday, 10 am at Dooley Funeral Home.

He will be laid to rest at Forest Home Cemetery, Hicksville.

In his memory contributions may be made to 1st Baptist Church of Antwerp.
