Gloria Hook

Gloria Marie Hook, 82, of Payne, passed away at 12:10 PM, Monday, November 5th, 2007 peacefully at Dallas Lamb Foundation Home, Payne.

She was born in Fort Wayne on October 6, 1925, the daughter of the late Garrett and Elsa F. (Ladd) Bowers.

Gloria was a homemaker, who enjoyed her family, ceramics, sewing & gardening and was a member of Payne Church of the Nazarene.

On June 28, 1947 Gloria married Henry Hook, who died March 14, 2007.

Gloria will be sadly missed by her daughter, Wendy (Larry) Zuber of Antwerp; sons, Kerry ( Jody), Rick (LeeAnn), Jeffrey & Chad all of Payne; sister, Ruby Hannefeld of Woodburn; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Her sisters, Geraldine Oddou & Janet Brinneman and brothers, Jack, Bob, Monty & Ernie Bowers have passed away.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Payne Church of the Nazarene at 11 am on Friday, November 9th, with Rev. Mike Harper officiating.

You may call Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 pm, at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp and Friday, one hour prior to services at the church.

She will be laid to rest at Lehman Cemetery, Payne.
