Harold L. Bell

Harold L. Bell, 89, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away at home on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

Harold was born in Harlan, Indiana on October 25, 1933, a son of the late Madonna (Franks) and Merton Bell, Sr.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Harold worked as a parts manager at Materials Handling Corp. in New Haven, Indiana. He will always be remembered for his preference for the Buicks he drove, John Deere tractors that he mowed with, his friendly smile and love of his wife, children and grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Randy (Cindy) Bell of Antwerp & Patricia Bell of Antwerp; sister, Clarice Baker of Haviland; grandchildren, Brandon (Nicky) Bell, Brock Bell, Tracy (Randy) Eaton, Shane Schomburg, Casey (Joanna) Schomburg, Patrick (Michelle) Schomburg, Brooke and Brady Hatlevig; great grandchildren, Octaven (Ronald) Craig, Heaven, Corbin, Austin, and Teagen Eaton, and Morrigan & Mark Schomburg and great great grandchildren, Dahlia & Mateo.

Harold was also preceded in death by his wife, Eunice (Rister) to whom he was married January 1, 1954; daughter, Penny Bell; siblings, Helen Hunter, Delores & Gladys Stultz, Donna Campbell, Richard & Merton Bell.

Viewing is Friday, Nov. 25, 2022, 4 pm to 7 pm at Dooley Funeral Home, 202 W. River Street, Antwerp.

His funeral service is Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, 10:30 am, with viewing 9:30 am to 10:15 am at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church 3497 County Rd 424, Antwerp.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
