Helen Virginia Barker

HELEN V. BARKER, age 91, of Antwerp, passed away at 2:31 AM, Saturday, January 27th, 2007 at Van Wert Hospital, Van Wert, Ohio.

Born in New Lexington, Ohio on March 3, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Vera Zoa (Stump) Hill.

On April 6, 1935 Helen married Joseph B. Barker, who passed away January 2, 1980.

She worked as a nurse's aid at Fountain Manor, Hicksville along with her family's farm.

Helen attended First Baptist Church of Antwerp was a member of Royal Neighbors of America and she was an avid Buckeye Football fan.

Helen will be sadly missed by her Sons & daughters-in-law, Joseph & Barbara Barker of Antwerp, Tom & Margaret Barker of Cochran, Georgia, Tim & Julie Barker of Antwerp; Sister and brother-in-law, Betty & Bud Lichty of Antwerp; 11 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

Her Daughter, Neva Jo Cromwell and Sister, Ruth Jordan have passed away.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 30th, with Rev. Jim Edwards officiating.

You may call Monday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, and Tuesday 1 hour prior to her service at Dooley Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery, Antwerp.
