HELEN L. DAEGER, age 87, of Paulding, Ohio, passed away at 3:05 PM, Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at Hawthorn Court, Paulding.
Born in Continental, Ohio on November 26, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Corbin and Clara (Anderson) Sullivan.
She was a homemaker, who loved to sew, but was known for her fried chicken. Helen's eyes always lit up when she saw little children.
She was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Paulding.
She had been a volunteer at Paulding County Hospital.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen & Jerry Walk of Antwerp
sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Marilyn Daeger of Sun City, Florida and Randy & Pam Daeger of Paulding; daughter-in-law, Ann Waldman of Paulding;
sisters, Mary Elizabeth Hiltner of North Creek, Ohio & Jeanie Plummer of Ottawa; sister-in-law, Eloise Sullivan of Continental; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Helen is preceded in death by her son, Dick; brother, Roy Sullivan and great grandson, Bo Chamberlain.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Paulding at 10 am on Saturday, August 26th, with Reverend G. Allan Fillman officiating.
You may call Saturday, one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
She will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Paulding.
In her memory contributions may be made to Bo Hunter Chamberlain Scholarship Fund or Paulding County Senior Center.
