Herbert L. Schaadt

Herbert L. Schaadt, 78, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.

Herb was born in  Willshire, Ohio on April 26, 1935, a son of the late Dorothy (Fritz) and Edward  Schaadt.        

On Jan 23, 1957 he married  Laura "Katy"  (Hilton) Schaadt.

He retired from International Harvester and enjoyed being a musician in Audiences Unlimited.

Herb will be sadly missed by his wife, Katy; daughters, Wanda Rodman of Antwerp, Ohio, Arlene (Melvin) Baxley of Statesville, NC & Audrey Knapp of Sarasota, FL; brother, Marvin of Fort Wayne; 7 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his son, Randy & brothers, Richard & Raymond.

Herb's service is Monday, June 17, 2013, 2 pm, with viewing two hours prior to the service at Dooley Funeral Home, 202  W. River Street, Antwerp, Ohio.

He will be laid to rest at Maumee Cemetery.
