Imogene Canfield, 87 of Payne, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Parkview Hospice, Fort Wayne.
She was born April 10, 1923, a daughter of the late Lucy (Lahr) & Thomas Koontz.
Imogene was a telephone operator for over 30 years.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kathy Pendergrast of Payne; son Kenneth Canfield; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She is also preceded in death by her daughters, Phyllis Kuhn and Margaret Fisher.
A prayer service will be held at 6 pm Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the Payne Church of the Nazarene, 509 E. Orchard, Payne.
The family was served by Dooley Funeral Home of Payne.
