Ione Robbins

IONE ROBBINS, age 84, of Antwerp, Ohio passed away Monday, November 13th, 2006 at her son's home, in Rib Lake, Wisconsin.

Born in Blancherville, Wisconsin on June 2, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Delma D. (Waters) Ramsier.

In 1939, Ione married Lester Robbins. He passed away in 1998.

She was a hairdresser & owner of Ione's Beauty & Fabric Shop, Antwerp for from 1963 to 1992. She also worked in the meat department at Marsh Supermarkets, Fort Wayne.

She was a member of South Scipio United Brethren Church, Harlan, Indiana.

Ione came from a farming family and loved to paint and crochet.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Darlene (Bill) Waltenburg of Antwerp; sons, David (Karen) of Rib Lake, & Darrell (Phyllis) of Antwerp; sister, Annabelle Seybert of LaGrange, Indiana; 7 grandchildren, Heather & Heath, Tammy & David, Cindy, Christy & Chad and 14 great grandchildren.

Ione's sister, Leola Perkins; brothers, Palmer & Aldon Ramsier and grandson, Timmy, have passed away.

You are invited to participate in her funeral service at Dooley Funeral Home, Antwerp, at 11 AM on Friday, November 17th, with Reverend Gary Gates officiating.

You may call Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM, and Friday, one hour prior to her service.

She will be laid to rest at Scipio Cemetery, Harlan.
